My Promise

As a faith-centered doula, my heart is to serve families through the sacred postpartum season, helping you rest, recover, and reconnect in body, mind, and spirit.

While my roots began in birth work, God has led me into a season focused on postpartum, where I can pour into families during those tender first weeks with presence, prayer, and practical support.

My promise is to show up with grace, gentleness, and the steady reminder that you were never meant to walk this season alone.

Welcome to my cozy corner of the internet, Friend! 🥰

Hey y’all — I’m Samantha Jones, your postpartum doula in Spartanburg County, SC and the heart behind Southern Grace Doula.

I’m a wife, mama to five amazing kiddos (and four angel babies in heaven), and I believe God designed our bodies and our communities to nurture new life. After supporting families through birth and postpartum, I’ve followed God’s lead into this new season of life: focusing fully on postpartum care.

When I’m not supporting families, you’ll usually find me curled up with a good book or savoring a cozy cup of coffee (bonus points if it’s from a local shop ☕). With our kids now in school, my husband and I are learning to slow down a little…rediscovering who we are in this new season and soaking up every bit of family time we can.

  • Signs of labor include regular contractions, changes in the cervix, water breaking, bloody show, and increased vaginal discharge. These signs can indicate that labor is starting, but it’s important to note that every woman’s experience is different.
